As the Oyo State Ministry Of Health finalises the conduct of the Computer Based Test(CBT) recruitment exercise on Thursday, some applicants have earlier been rescheduled got their tests done.
Tribune Online gathered that the tests had earlier been canceled in one of the previous centers.
The exercise, which took place in two centers – Oyo State School of Nursing, Eleyele and The Polytechnic, Ibadan witnessed encouraging coordination.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Bashir Bello, who noted that the tests were rescheduled due to technical problems encountered in the previous center, said the affected applicants were given another chance to get their tests done.
According to Dr Bello, the conduct of the exercise was quite impressive compared to what led to the cancellation of the previous tests.
“We have more technical hands and expertise but the level of computer literacy of the applicants is so poor but we will ensure that according to the dictates of Governor Seyi Makinde, every candidate gets equal leverage and opportunity.”
Speaking in one of the Centres, the state Commissioner for Establishment, Professor Daoud Kehinde Sangodoyin, noted that there were some itches with the login details (names and phone numbers)of some applicants, while others who were able to login did not have access to the test questions. According to him, the problems were properly managed with every applicant given a level playing ground.
