A former Senator who represented Oyo North in the National Assembly within the space of 2003 through 2007, Robert Koleoso has been confirmed dead on the early wake of Thursday.

The development was announced on Thursday evening by the Commissioner for Trade and Investment in the state, Mr Adeniyi Olabode Adebisi.

Mr Adebisi reports that the deceased died on Thursday morning at the University College Hospital (UCH).

Naija News understands that the demise is the elder brother to Chief Michael Koleoso, the Secretary to the Oyo state government under the administration of late former governor Lamidi Adesina.

“Baba died today at the UCH this morning,” said Adeniyi.

Meanwhile, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has revealed that his consumption of black seed oil mixed with honey helped boost his immune against coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Governor made this known while speaking during a live phone-in radio program on Fresh FM Ibadan on Monday.
