Good day, Nigeria, welcome to Naija News roundup of top Coronavirus news headlines for today Monday, April 20th, 2020.

Below is a roundup of top stories on the COVID-19 disease

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic would soon end.

Daddy G.O., as he is fondly called by members of the RCCG, disclosed this during Sunday’s service by the RCCG aired live by the DOVE Television.

He, however, urged Nigerians and the world not to relax in its fight against the deadly virus.

Adeboye said: “The journey to normalcy has begun. Very soon, your pastors will return to their duty posts. I have perhaps one more Sunday to spend with you (televised broadcast), then, everything will return to normal.”

The Lagos State Government has announced Coronavirus (COVID-19) test centres in its 20 Local Government Areas(LGAs).

Naija News reports the Lagos State Government said in a tweet on its official handle on Sunday, April 19 that a visit to the Coronavirus centres is ‘strictly” by appointment, not emergency.

To book the appointment, residents were told to make requests through app.alertclinic.com at the COVID-19 test centre closest to them.

Nigeria has recorded 86 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the West African country.
