According to reports confirmed in a statement made available online on Wednesday, April 29, Khan died at the age of fifty-three after suffering from a high-grade neuroendocrine cancer since two years now.
It was reported that Khan was admitted to a hospital in India’s entertainment capital, Mumbai, where he was later confirmed dead, BBC reports.
The late actor is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikder, and their two sons, Babil and Ayan, Naija News understands.
Khan before his death featured in films like; Slumdog Millionaire, Maqbool, Jurassic World, the comedy Piku, and Life of Pi, among many others.
