Big Brother Naija star, Neo Akpofure, has taken to Twitter to lament bitterly over the high cost of cooking gas in Nigeria.

According to the reality star, gas now sells for N700 per kg in his location. He bemoaned the increase and expressed hopelessness over the situation of things in the country.

The 26-year-old added that with the way things are going, the poor will keep getting poorer.

He tweeted, “What’s going on in this country? Person dey refill 1kg of cooking gas for N700 now. The poor keeps getting poorer”
