Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something! Nothing concern u for America! Face your country !!”

The Starboy seized the opportunity to task the Governor of Lagos State to also put an end to the extra-judicial killings by the police, especially its Special Anti-Robbery Squad division.

“Mr Governor! I met with you December 2019! You expressed how proud you are of the entertainment industry and all we do. Please do something; let’s be proud of you too abeg! #Endsars!!”
he tweeted.

Fem singer, Davido, also took to his verified Instagram page, which has over 17 million followers, to speak against police brutality. “#endsarsnow !!!! If we all come together as brothers and sisters and also as citizens of this country, we can end this nonsense!!” the singer posted.

“Police brutality is skyrocketing by the day and the Nigeria government is not deaf nor blind, they see all the trends and tag along with whichever one they like. You don’t have to like this one to do the right thing. The hashtags are becoming tiring. The people are sick of it.

“The greatest patriotism is to tell your country when it is behaving dishonourably, foolishly, viciously. This is not the time to point fingers, who is protesting and who is not. It’s time to collectively stop fighting each other and demand good governance. Nobody deserves to be killed for nothing by the people that are meant to protect them. The government should lead by example. Don’t ignore the people when they need you and come back later talking about the people are the problem of Nigeria,” the Eru singer tweeted.

Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, simply noted via his verified Twitter account that the police are killing the citizens. He tweeted, “They are doing more of killing us than protecting us. You have lost control of your men. Take these touts in uniforms off our streets. #EndSarsNow”
