A Nigerian man has taken to social media to advise people who are considering fleeing the country as a possible way to escape police brutality and extrajudicial killings.

Taking to his Twitter account, the man known as Ola said leaving Nigeria is not the solution, as he asked what would be the fate of the person’s family and friends.

According to him, a Nigerian who stays abroad can still be a victim of SARS or police brutality in a case where he or she may decide to visit Nigeria for just one day and end up getting killed.

Ola wrote; “Bro forget bants leaving the country is not the solution.

“If you leave what of your friends and family.

Let’s say you leave and you have to come back to do something in Nigeria for just a day, people have gotten k!!led by these guys moments after leaving the airport.”
