Governor Samuel Ortom

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Wednesday disclosed that he tested negative for the COVID-19 virus.

The Governor said this while addressing journalists at the new banquet hall of Government House, Makurdi.

He appreciated the people of the state, his friends and supporters across the country for their prayers during the period of self-isolation.

Ortom also thanked his deputy, Benson Abounu, and urged the people of the state to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols.
