Sources close to Elombahnews have revealed that Ahmed gulak who was a former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan left the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was the one who presided over the Imo State APC governorship primary prior to the 2019 governorship election.
It was gathered that he had an altercation with the ex- Imo State governor, Rochas okorocha and that the ex-governor allegedly offered him huge money to help Uche Nwosu, his son in-law, win the APC ticket.
According to Gulak, he rejected the money and Hope Uzodinma won the APC ticket.
A political analyst also told Elombahnews that “he sees Ahmed Gulak’s death to be more political. Remember he was chairman of the primary committee that gave Hope the APC Ticket? Something is definitely wrong somewhere.”
Elombah news recalls that Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma had claimed that insecurity in Imo State was politically motivated. He also stated that the opposition was in cahoots with IPOB
Gulak visited Owerri and alleged to have been shot dead by unknown men. He was a known political figure from Adamawa State.
An opinion political analyst wrote: “It’s either the unknown gunmen are actually politically sponsored or they mistook him for another person”.
