Says he is a classified philanthropist
The State Chairman Project Rescue Nigeria Enugu State Chapter, Comrade Anekeoku Franklin has classified Hon. Emeka Onunze the Executive Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State as a philanthropist based on his attitude and system of administration in handling and rescuing the people living in Enugu North Local Government Area, both indigenes and non-indigenes to survive in this lockdown because of Coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic.
Appreciating him for providing for the people, he said:
“Yes, it is governments’ responsibility to care for the welfare of the people but if you are not a philanthropist in nature and character you cannot provide for the people because a true leader is equally known in the act of giving, good governance, accountability and transparency.
“I urge him to do more by providing more other food items, because hunger is more deadlier than Coronavirus itself and one of the methodology to prevent covid 19 in the Local Government and the world at large is to provide food to the people.
On that note, he, Comrade Anekeoku, is calling on all ward councillors’ in Enugu Local Government Area to reach out to the people in the grassroots through the support of the Executive Chairman- Hon. Emeka Onunze, and stakeholders because covid-19 is real and deadly.
“Let us come together to prevent this pandemic that has so covered and is destroying the entire world,” he said.
