BREAKING: Buhari gets Senate accelerated approval for N850b loan

The Senate has stated that it will give accelerated approval to the N850 billion loan request presented by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In less than one hour, Senate gave accelerated approval for President Buhari to go for fresh loan of N850 Billion.

Buhari had applied for the loan from the domestic capital market to fund projects in the 2020 budget.

The request was contained in a Presidential memo read by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan on the floor of the Senate.
