Man, 50 Commits Suicide In Sokoto

A 50 years – old man, Abdu Danfulani (not real name) in the Manare areas of Mana, Sokoto south local government within the metropolis has committed suicide in his house, a source from the area confirmed.

According to an eye witness account, the community was thrown into fears and panic waking up to see the ugly development.

The eye witness who preferred anonimity however divulged that, the deceased believed to be an estate agent was alleged to have complaint over unfavourable economy especially in the real estate business lately.

The case was said to have been reported to the police as at when Leadership Sunday visited.

Giving his insight into the ugly scenario, another estate agent, who gave his name as Alhaji Mustapha Salihu said, no condition should warrant such action by any human being.

According to Salihu, aside the fact that, committing suicide is unIslamic, the deceased must have given up on himself hence the reason for such unacceptable act.

Salihu, however appealed to federal, state and other wealthy individuals in the society to assist the less privileged as according to him, most Nigerians are not finding things easy especially with the butter bite of Covid 19 in their economy.
