Department of State Services, DSS, recently invited the Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio over a leaked audio in which he was allegedly negotiating with Militants to bomb oil pipelines.
Former Acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, Joi Nunieh had accused Akpabio of ordering the bombing of oil pipelines in the Niger Delta region.
However, speaking with Elombah.com in an exclusive interview, Chairman, George Uboh Whistleblowers Network (GUWN), Dr. Gorge Uboh said Akpabio was recently invited by DSS over the the allegation raised by former Acting Managing Director of NDDC on bombing of Pipeline in relation to the leaked audio on the allegation.
He said, ” NDDC is a matter, I know very well as we are speaking, I have sued Akpabio to Court.
“When I listened to the issue of NDDC, what pained me is when I listened to an audio where Akpabio ordered Pipeline to be bombed. I did my investigation and payment was made.
“I have the receipt of the payment as evidence and the company that fronts for him to make the payment, when I gathered this evidence and sued Akpabio to court.
“I know Akpabio went to DSS because, DSS called someone I know after Akpabio, but what happened in DSS, I don’t know.
“I want the Court to compel DSS to formally investigate, do forensic analysis of that voice, I have sat with Akpabio so many times. I know his voice.
“Akpabio in the leaked audio was saying bomb the pipeline, that useless woman.
“Akpabio used the issue of bombing the pipeline to get to Buhari, in order to say that Woman does not have the capacity to control the boys that is why they bombed the pipeline.”
He added, “I am from Delta state, I know the fraud Senator Peter Nwaboshi has committed at the NDDC. What you are seeing is icing on the cake. Nobody really wants to investigate anything.”
