Dr. Clement Bakam has died of complications associated with COVID-19 in Kaduna, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Kaduna State chapter has disclosed.
The disclosure was contained in a statement issued Wednesday by Dr. Abdulsalam Abdulrazak, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) NMA) Kaduna chapter.
According to NMA, late Dr. Bakam until his death was the programme manager of the Kaduna State Emergency Routine Immunisation Coordination Centre (KADSERICC).

The statement reads in parts, “On behalf of the chairman, I regret to announce the sad demise of our brother and colleague Dr Clement Bakam following complications of COVID-19.
“Until his death he was the Program manager, Kaduna State Emergency Routine Immunization Coordination Centre (KADSERICC).
“Our condolences goes to his immediate family, friends, colleagues and Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) Kaduna chapter. May God comfort us all.”
Meanwhile, Kaduna State has recorded 2,163 cases of COVID-19.
