The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board, Alhaji Ibrahim Mairiga has promised to degitalise the Board and also run an inclusive administration for staffs of the board.
A press statement signed by the Head, Press and Public Relations Unit, Office of the Executive Secretary, FGSHLB, Mr. Akinwale Adegbola stated that Maigari while addressing the management staff of the board, when he formally assumed work, yesterday in Abuja made this known to them.
The new Executive Secretary who held a brief meeting with the heads of Departments, Divisions and Units to familiarize himself with the Management staff, also reiterated that digitalized operations will aid in simplified schedules and thereby increasing the board’s effectiveness.
” I will run an all inclusive administration and fully digitalize the operations and work processes of the Board. Digitalized operations will simplify housing loan applications , review of loans, profiling as well as release of funds to loan applicants / beneficiaries, and facilitate the ease of doing business, in line with the ideals of President Mohammadu Buhari led administration”, he said.
While pledging to bring his wealth of experience in deferent fields across the MDAs to reposition the Board for efficient service delivery, Mairigari urged them to put in their best and ensure they provide effective as well as efficient service to the nation and the board.
The Deputy Director, Hajia Salamatu Ladi-Ahmed who superintended over the affairs of the Board before the appointment of Alhaji Mairiga, assured the new Executive Secretary of the support and cooperation of Staff in achieving the mandate of the Board.
