Edo Decides: Voting Begin In Edo, Massive Turn Out In Most Wards, Polling Units

Eligible voters Saturday morning trooped out in Edo state for the governor of their choice.

Accreditation and voting commenced at exactly 9: 30am in most of the polling units and ward visited. The excercise has been peaceful as voters conducted themselves in an orderly manner amid tight security.

At Governor Godwin Obaseki’s unit 4, Oredo local government area anxious voters had queued up at their various units before voting began.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of the PDP and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressive Congress, APC are the main contenders.
