Prof. Attahiru Jega supports #EndSARS protest

Former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega has thrown his weight behind #EndSARS protests.

Professor Jega lent his support to #EndSARS on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter, the Pro Chancellor PLASU and Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, regretted the massacre of protesters at Lagos on Tuesday.

“The last 24 hours have been saddening for me and lot of people in the country.

“My Thoughts are with families of the victims in this sad period.”

Urging them not to give up, he further tweeted:

“If it was easy everyone would do it, so never give up.”

Unofficial reports claim that as much as 78 persons were killed during the massacre that had been tagged “Black Tuesday”.
