There seems to be so much tension and panic in the kitchen cabinet of president Museveni as the leading political opposition in the country, Bobi Wine gain more supporters among the masses in Uganda.
Wine, a human right activist, musician and member of the Ugandan Parliament is among the political contenders slated for January 14th 2021 presidential election in the country. The die hard Ugandan politician has vowed to slug it out with Museveni who has ruled the country for over 35 years.
Many political observers have predicted a bloody election in the country considering the recalcitrant disposition of the incumbent who is not willing to relinquish power at the moment even if he losses.
Moreover, Bobi Wine who has been moving with his campaign team across the length and breathe of the country accused president Museveni of sending the security agencies against his campaign train which resulted to many sustaining varying degrees of injuries and while some are illegally detained in different prison facilities.
However, many Ugandans sees Bobi Wine as their political saviour as hundreds of them besiege his campaign ground in support of his push to remove Museveni whom many have described as a dictator.
14th of January will be another decisive moment for the country as thousands of Ugandans will either vote to bring an end to the era of dictatorship or vote to sustain it.
