A human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has told the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Rotimi Akeredolu and all the 36 State governors in Nigeria to be ruthless and brutal on the killer herdsmen and bandits ravaging their States.
Comrade Paul, stated that governor Akeredolu is the Chief Security Officer of his State under oath of office to protect the lives and property of his people as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution and Ondo State laws respectively.
“Anti-Open Grazing Laws should be made and enforced by all the State Government in Official Gazatte against the marauding killer herdsmen who are armed to teeth.
“Every Nigerian has the fundamental right to life and property. Nigerians must be protected from these ruthless killer marauders and militia who go about abducting people for ransom, raping women in their farm lands and homes, grabbing lands, destroying farm lands and products, killing and maiming Nigerians in occupational conquest”, said the rights activist.
Recall that the Ondo State governor recently ordered herdsmen to vacate the State Forest Reserve within a short period of time.
