The senator representing Anambra South Federal Constituency, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has doused rumours of a perceived tension reportedly brewing between himself and the CEO of Coscharis Motors, Mr Cosmos Maduka.
Sources claimed that Mr. Maduka and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah are not in speaking terms following a botched business transaction between the duo years ago.
However, in a show of brotherliness, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was seen in a recent event paying homage to Maduka, who also showed no sign of rancour between them.
Maduka was seen seated and discussing freely with the Senator while the Senator stooped and paid rapt attention.
Reacting to the atmosphere between the two at the event, our correspondent stated:
“While Nnewi is known for its multiple multibillionaires across all spheres of life, ubiquitous multimillionaires and outstanding reserve of human resources, it also boasts of a deep respect for traditions and customs especially where it pertains to according respect to each and everyone both old and young.
“Despite being the youngest billionaire in Igbo history, despite being the Number 1 citizen of Anambra South Federal Constituency, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Ubah has not lost his home training nor forgotten his manners as evidenced today at a Public function where Ikemba Igbonine was in attendance alongside his elder brother, Mr Cosmos Maduka, CEO of Coscharis Motors.
“In line with our tradition and customs of always giving due respect to everyone, Ebubechukwu Uzo went over and greeted his elder brother in all humility as is expected from him and every onye Nnewi regardless of class and status.
“It was a refreshing sight to behold and a moment of deep inspiration to the younger generation, that despite the madness of the modern era, basic home training should never be sacrificed for anything in this life.
“A picture is worth more than a thousand words and this picture of Sen Dr Ifeanyi Ubah and Mr Cosmos Maduka is a classic and serves as a reminder that brotherhood is much more important than anything in this life and should never be sacrificed for anything in this life.
“Keep making us proud and keep representing us outstandingly, not just in words but in deeds.”
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, it could be recalled, has declared his intention to contest the Anambra State governorship election coming up on November 6, 2021.
In the meantime, he is representing Anambra South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
