EPL: Ndidi Stars In Leicester City’s Away Defeat To Liverpool, Iwobi Fails To Rescue Everton
Wilfred Ndidi made his seventh Premier League appearance for Leicester City in their 2-1 defeat at the Anfield Stadium on Saturday afternoon, reports Completesports.com.
Ndidi played the entire duration of the keenly contested encounter.
His international teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho was not listed for the game by the Foxes.
Saido Mane and James Milner were on target for Liverpool in the game, while James Maddison got Leicester City’s only goal.
At the Turf Moor, Alex Iwobi was in action for 90 minutes as Everton went down to a slim 1-0 defeat to Burnley.
It was Iwobi’s sixth league appearance for Everton albeit he has scored one goal for the club.
Jeff Hendrick netted the decisive goal in the 72nd minute.
Isaac Success was not listed for action as Watford were held to a goalless draw at home by Sheffield United.
