Chidozie Awaziem and Moses Simon will start Nigeria’s friendly encounter against Brazil at the Singapore National Stadium, Kallang on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.

The duo will take the place of Ola Aina and Samuel Kalu who have been ruled out of the game as a result of injury.

Aina and Kalu started Nigeria’s last game against Ukraine at the Dnipro Arena.

Awaziem, naturally a centre-back, impressed in the right-back position at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt following Shehu Abdullahi’s injury.

He is highly favoured to start ahead of Abdullahi against the South Americans.

Simon, despite the impressive performance of Club Brugges’ Emmanuel Dennis , will occupy the left-wing position.

Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder, Joe Aribo will take the place of Oghenekaro Etebo, who pulled out of the game due to personal reasons.
