Nigerian striker Brown Ideye scored for Aris Thessaloniki in their 2-1 home win against Xanthi, in the Greek Cup second-leg round of 16 clash on Tuesday, Completesports.com reports.
The win means Aris have qualified for the Greek Cup quarter-final on a 3-1 aggregate win.
Ideye scored the only goal in Aris’ 1-0 away win in the first-leg last week Wednesday.
Xanthi took the lead in the second-leg tie through Jordan Faucher in the 22nd minute.
Lucas Sasha drew Aris levelled with three minutes remaining in the first half.
And in the 59th minute, Ideye netted the second goal to secure his team’s passage into the last eight.
