Super Eagles duo, Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem have been handed a tough draw in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey with their club Leganes drawn against last season finalists Barcelona, reports Completesports.com.
CD Leganes scraped past Ebro 1-0 in their Round of 32 tie on Thursday night.
Omeruo and Awaziem were unused substitutes in the game.
Barcelona also narrowly edged out Ibiza 2-1 in their own Round of 32 clash, thanks to a brace from Antoine Griezzmann.
The encounter which will take place at the Camp Now is billed to hold next week Tuesday.
Samuel Chukuweze’s Villarreal will be away to Segunda Division club Rayo Vallecano in another Round of 16 game.
Chukwueze scored a brilliant goal in Villarreal’s 3-0 win against Girona in their Round of 32 fixture on Wednesday.
Ramon Azeez and his Granada teammates have been drawn against the only third tier club remaining in the Copa del Rey, Badajoz.
Azeez bagged an assist in Granada’s 3-1 away win against Badalona on Wednesday.
