NPFL: Enyimba Seek To Extend Unbeaten Run; Lobi, Plateau United Continue Title Chase

The Nigeria Professional Football League returns with the second round of fixtures this Sunday with games at all 10 venues.

All eyes will be on Umuahia where rivals Abia Warriors and Enyimba will be meeting for the second time in seven days.

Enyimba head into the game in buoyant mood having won their last three fixtures, while the hosts will be desperate to maintain their unbeaten home streak.

Leaders Lobi Stars will be away to Wikki Tourists at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, while second placed Plateau United will be at home to Dakkada FC.

Third placed Rivers United will face Kwara United at the Ilorin Sports Complex.

Rivers United won the reverse fixture 1-0.

At Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars will be gunning for revenge against MFM who halted their 13-game winning streak last weekend.

The Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu will be the venue of another highly anticipated clash between Rangers and Akwa United.

Both sides battled to a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture last weekend.
