Nigeria international, Slyvester Igbonu made his debut for FC Dynamo Moscow Monday evening in a derby game against his parent club, FC Ufa which ended goalless at the VTB Arena, Moscow, Completesports.com reports.

Igbonu started and led the home team’s attacking line but failed to score against his former club despite playing the entire duration of the game.

Dynamo dominated the cagey game and had 69% of the possession to Ufa’s 31% but they could not break down the visiting team’s defence despite registering seven shots on target against Ufa’s four.

The 0-0 draw meant Ufa retained their one point lead as they moved to the 9th position on 11 points to stay two steps above Dynamo who are still rooted in the 11th position on 10 points.

Igbonu only recently switched to Dynamo on a loan deal from Ufa with the Nigerian expected to help solve Dynamo’s goalscoring problem.
