Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai says there is no ground for compromise with the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).
He made the declaration while dismissing the warning strike in the state by the union.
The five-day industrial action entered the second day on Tuesday.
El-Rufai told newsmen that labour has used its last ultimate weapon which would not change anything.
“The state government will not change its position”, he stated.
El-Rufai had ordered the arrest of NLC President, Ayuba Wabba.
The governor said the organised labour leader will be prosecuted for “economic sabotage”.
In response, Wabba who led thousands of workers in protest dared the Kaduna helmsman.
“We are here and waiting for them to arrest me,” he said.
