PDP sweeps Oyo council polls

The Oyo Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) Chairman, Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju has on Sunday May 23 2021 declared the Peoples Democratic Party PDP candidates winner for all the 31 local government elections results declared so far at the OYSIEC Headquarters Agodi Ibadan.
The OYSIEC boss Olagunju declared and confirmed all the PDP candidates as the winner of the Saturday May 22 2021 local government elections, as well as returning chairmen of the declared local government areas so far.
However the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has cleared all the results of the local government elections declared so far.
The situation of the OYSIEC Hall venue of the declaration of results of the local government elections is calm has the OYSIEC chairman, Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju announced 15 minutes of break before the declaration of the results for Ibarapa East local government elections.
Recalled that there were protest in the affected Ibarapa East local government Area by some aggrieved youths over snatching of ballot papers in their polling booths by unknown hoodlums, believed to be political thugs.
