COVID-19: I’ve tested positive for Coronavirus – Abuja-based FIRS official discloses

Salihu Umar, a staff of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has disclosed that he has tested positive for the novel COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Umar said he is still under self-isolation and that health personnel are making their way to his house for evacuation to Gwagwalada Isolation Centre.

He said that his neighbours and employer had been notified accordingly.

“I have just tested positive for COVID19,” he tweeted.

“At the moment, I am still under self-isolation as health personnel make their way to my house for evacuation to Gwagwalada isolation centre.

“My neighbours and employer have been notified accordingly.

“Lockdown Lagos & Abuja NOW, please please, please.

“The show of love is massive, I love you back. I’ll be fine, in shaa Allah.”
