Daniel Kadzai, the National Youth Leader, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christian, CNNC, has reafirmed his support on President Muhammadu Buhari’s medical trip to London.

In his rejoinder press statement issued on April 7, 2021, Kadzia’s statement read:

“I Daniel Kadzai, the National Youth Leader, Congress of Northern Nigeria Christian (CNNC), granted an interview over the protest by some Nigerians in London asking President Mohammadu Buhari to return to Nigeria.

“During the interview, i did said Nigerians home and abroad should remember that Buhari is the President and should not be publicly humiliated in such a manner.

“I faulted especially the insult by Nigerians based in London who publicly called the President names” (Bastard).

Recall that activists gathered outside 6th Nigerian High Commission in the UK, known as Abuja House, on 2 April, to protest against President Muhammadu Buhari.

The activists, who believe the 78-year-old military politician is inside the building in west London are demanding that he stop wasting money on foreign trips.

Mr. Daniel continued, “I cautioned the protesters to desist from this ignoble quest which by all intents and purposes may further heighten the tensed atmosphere which may degenerate into violent crisis similar to the EndSars that left Nigeria groaning over the needles bloodshed.

“I cautioned that they would be held responsible should there be a breakdown of law and order in the country following vulgar speech.

“I urge all well-meaning Nigerians to rise in defense of the country in this critical period of our existence, where the insecurity is worsening on daily basis.

“As a Youth Leader, I agreed that the medical facilities in the country should be upgraded and that the government should also address the plight of the striking doctors and upgrade all our medical facilities to world standard to enable all Nigerians access to quality health services than wasting huge resources on overseas treatment amidst the scorching economic hardship.

“Report indicates that President Buhari is currently in London, having made several medical visits to the British capital since he came to power in 2015.

“Any other publication beside what i mentioned here was an attempt by mischief maker to rubbish my longstanding position for equity, fairness and justice for all Nigeria citizens”, he submitted.
