Lagos has recorded two COVID-19 related deaths despite not having any new case in the list recently released by NCDC.
Akin Abayomi, commissioner of health in Lagos who broke the news via Twitter on Tuesday, said the deceased, a male and a female, were aged 45 and 36 respectively.
He said one of the victims, the female, had a serious underlying health issue and had no travel history or contact with any COVID-19 case.
The number of deaths from COVID-19 in the state now stands at 16.
