President Buhari has extended the lockdown in FCT, Lagos and Ogun for a week.
He approved the gradual and partial easing of the lockdown in these states starting from Saturday, 2nd May.
From Monday, 4th May, the lockdown will however be relaxed with the implementation of curfews.
The national curfew will be between 8pm and 6am.
In his Monday broadcast message, Buhari also announced a total lockdown in Kano for two weeks.
He said that the ban on religious and social gatherings still remains.
Selected businesses will operate from 9am to 6pm while wearing of masks is also mandatory henceforth.
